Communities under the care of our organization providing health and hygiene, educational, legal and recreational assistance.Ashankura provides assistance to an approximate 4 500 population residing at 8 different locations in the city
700 daily wage workers have been registered with the Labor Department ensuring they receive benefits doled out by the state. We helped a labor’s family receive adequate compensation from the builder as workman compensation. This was achieved legally after the death of the labor at the construction site because the employer refused to compensate adequately. Three more legal cases are currently running addressing issues with labor payment and apt compensation for labor accidents that took place at construction sites.
Ashankura regularly conducts health camps at various communities to keep a check on health issues, preventing outbreak of deceases. It regularly conducts awareness programs to better educate the deprived communities face challenges with the limited resources available. We also provide medicines and medical care for the unwell, keeping a track on their recovery. We also ensure the deprived do not miss on treatments due to costs, by providing for them through donations or requests to different medical organizations for a waiver.
Care that brightens deprived lives
